It's taken me the better part of 5 years to get around to building the cabinet. Yeah, I could probably make this up as I go along, but it would be quicker if I had the original plans to work off. Here's a picture of the octagonal unit under construction, on the blog I mentioned of the guy who never replied: It's the construction plans for the octagonal quad controller box itself that I'm after. I'm not interested in the control "layout" itself, those are a dime-a-dozen and can be found anywhere on the net. The box itself doesn't have any slope, and it's not octagonal. This is a simplified version of their original Quad controller.

If you're talking about the software (screenshot attached), then that's not what I'm after. so it would be an unholy nightmare to try and reproduce this one! Please don't leave me to try and replicate this panel from scratch on my own! From what I can see, and what I've heard on one of the blogs above, there are 5 unique shapes to the sides, and they're all compound miter cuts. If *anyone* has the plans, or knows of anyone who does, could you PLEASE contact me! Seriously, I'm starting to think a higher power doesn't want me building this! but the forum seems to be broken, and I can't sign up to the site to ask him about them. A third guy who says on a forum that he has the plans. got in contact with him, and he no longer has them ģ. Another guy who did a review on the cabinet and control panel. The blog is ancient, on WordPress, and he probably doesn't even realise it still exists Ģ.
Some guy who has built the control panel years ago, and doesn't respond to blog posts.
Now, I have Googled this until my fingers bled, and here's the best I could come up with:ġ. Scroll down on this page to the picture of the two cabinets standing shoulder to shoulder, and you'll see what they look like: Now, after looking around at a lot of different designs, I'm still convinced the original big octagonal panel is the best looking for this cabinet. They don't even have the CNC templates to produce one in kit format. not only do they not have the plans available anymore, they don't seem to have any copies. The main cabinet is built, so I went back to MameRoom to purchase the Quad Control Panel plans. I've only just gotten around to actually building it! Slack, I know! I purchased the Ultimate Arcade II plans from back in 2005. Long time lurker, first time poster, hoping someone can help me out in desperate times!
